About us
Eight years ago, Ola Lidmark Eriksson & Joakim Plogell founded Football Analytics Sweden AB. The idea was simple, they wanted to take the ideas that teams like Brentford and Midtjylland used to achieve great success and make them available for all clubs. The product was named PlaymakerAI and provides world class analysis in a comprehensible manner.
The idea is still the same - creating actionable insights with the use of AI. At the same time, the company has developed - today we have eleven employees and work with clubs, federations and agencies within men and women’s football both in Sweden and internationally. We also work with media companies, participating in tv studios as data experts as well as providing different outlets with our data. We have now also started reaching out to the gaming industry, providing sites with relevant data that increases customer engagement. This is a widget we’ve provided that offers visualisation on the teams’ performances.
Job Description
Your main task is sales towards gaming and media companies globally. You work with the entire sales process - prospecting, scheduling meetings, conducting meetings, drafting quotes, negotiating and finalising agreements, collaborating internally with our developers regarding customer delivery, as well as building long-term relationships with clients.
We currently have a strong presence in the Swedish football market. We are currently in the early stages of development in the area of Sports Betting & Content. Our next step is to establish ourselves internationally. Since we will now begin to target markets where we have not yet established a presence, a significant part of your job will involve outbound sales.
You will be a key player in shaping our offerings in the area of Sports Betting & Content. This may include taking a leading role in product development in collaboration with our developers and contributing strategically to product packaging, pricing, and marketing.
PlaymakerAI has offices in Stockholm and Gothenburg, but you may also work from other locations. The majority of your sales work will take place through email, phone, and video meetings, but occasional travel may also be required.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who has:
Experience in B2B sales with responsibility for entire sales processes, such as software, data, or similar products.
Experience in new customer acquisition.
Experience in the gaming industry (sports betting) and/or sports media.
Excellent English skills – you feel completely comfortable, for instance, conducting customer meetings in English. Additional language skills are a plus.
A keen interest in football and preferably also in football data.
